About Bubba's Boats

Bubba’s Boats has been renting boats based in Eagle River, Wisconsin since 2013. What started as a small fleet has grown into the largest boat delivery operation in the Northwoods, serving vacationers across Vilas and Oneida Counties.

We’re a family business. My name is Robert “Bubba” Corby, and I own and operate the fleet with a small team of delivery crew.

When we started in 2013, the boat rental market in Northern Wisconsin had two kinds of operators: small shops with four or five boats and no delivery, and marinas where you had to drive in, load up, and figure it out yourself. We saw a gap — families on vacation don’t want to spend their first morning at a boat landing. They want the boat waiting at the dock.

So we built the business around delivery. Today we have 31 boats — 15 pontoons, 8 deck boats/ski boats, and 8 Sea-Doo 130 hp jet skis — and we deliver every one of them to the lake and dock of your choice, anywhere within 50 miles of Eagle River. That covers all of Vilas County, parts of Oneida County and Forest County, and into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

• Everything included. Life vests, skis, tubes, and ropes are always free. No surprise fees at pickup.
• No wear-and-tear fees. We don’t charge for normal use. Minor prop damage happens — we don’t bill you for it.
• Digital paperwork. All rental documents are emailed for electronic signature before your arrival. Our instructional videos are available on any smartphone or tablet. You don’t lose a minute of vacation time to paperwork.
